Welcome to Byrd’s Nest Quilt Shops, with two locations to better serve you! Visit our Ormond Beach shop and our Palm Coast shop to truly enhance your shopping experience! We carry different fabric selections in each shop!
Byrd’s Nest Quilt Shop in Ormond Beach is one of the largest quilt shops in Florida with over 5000 square feet of pure quilt shop fun downstairs and a large sewing area upstairs for quilt retreats. It’s a quilter’s dream come true!
Located a short walk from the ocean, the beachside influence is the most obvious with lots of fun, bright, tropical fabrics, kits and quilt samples. Orientals and batiks are also very popular at Byrd’s Nest with nearly 1000 bolts of batiks and over 400 bolts of Oriental fabric on display.
Lots of floor space means more fabric, notions, books, patterns and sewing machines and Byrd’s Nest has it all. There are over 6000 bolts of fabric to choose from, so if you can’t find what you are looking for on our website, there is a good chance we have it in the shop. Just call or e-mail us with your quilting needs or desires and we’ll see if we can find it for you.
You won't want to miss any of the excitement in our Palm Coast shop! Always lots of new fabrics to choose from.....collections of beautiful traditional and contemporary fabrics, as well as a distinct selection of batiks and Asian inspired fabrics! In addition, you'll find some super fun new quilting tools and gadgets to enhance your sewing and quilting experiences. You'll also find fabulous Angelina fibers and films, Shiva Paintstiks, Texture Magic and more to truly wow your surface design projects or simply add some elegant embellishment to your quilting projects! Be sure to stop in on the 2nd Saturday of the month, promptly at 10 am, for our fantastic Sew Much More. It's an hour of fun-filled demos of the latest new fabrics, tools and gadgets to excite your sewing senses! And, the best part: You'll receive a 15% discount on (almost) everything shown during the demo! Wow!
We are an authorized Pfaff / Baby Lock sewing and embroidery machine dealer, and our high technology sewing center in our Palm Coast shop features some of the most wonderful machines on the market today! Our sewing machine specialists, Barbara and Steve, can help you choose and test drive the model that’s perfect for you. They are always available to help you get the most from your machine and answer all your questions. And, of course, we carry the latest software and accessories.

The Ormond Beach shop is located beachside at 156 E. Granada Blvd. in Ormond Beach, directly across the street from Outback Steak House. Hours of operation in the Ormond Beach shop are 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
The Palm Coast shop is located in the City Marketplace shopping complex at 160 Cypress Point Pkwy, Unit A108. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday, 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. From 95, take exit 289 (Palm Coast Pkwy); West onto Palm Coast Pkwy; Left at the light onto Cypress Point Pkwy; Left at the 2nd light onto Cypress Edge; then, immediate right into City Marketplace; keep turning right in the parking lot until you see Unit A108, "Quilt Shop" in red letters.
